Border Crossing UX are delighted to announce that we’ve been added to Scottish Procurement’s Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) 2.0 for Digital Technology Services. This means that we will now be automatically invited to bid for call-off contracts that are issued via the DPS 2.0 for:

Lot 1: Digital Technology Services

These digital projects will have known outcomes, objectives; deliverables; milestones and identified methodologies and are likely to involve some or all of the following; Digital Transformation Projects, Digital/Online Services, User Research/Experience Design, Content & Service Design.

Lot 2: Digital Technology Resources

The digital resources lot is expected to provide access to a diverse range of skills and expertise in support of digital technology services. Examples of likely roles include; Digital Specialists, Project & Programme Managers, User Researchers, Digital Service Designers, Business Analysts, Solutions Architects and other specialists roles.

What this means for Border Crossing UX?

This is fantastic news for us. As over the years we’ve worked with a broad range of public sector organisations. Including the Scottish Government, National Galleries of Scotland, Edinburgh Council, NHS 24, NHS Scotland, NHS GGC and University of Edinburgh, amongst others. This work has involved outcome-based projects and the provision of specialist skills and resources on both long and short term projects. So providing the services required by the DPS is exactly what we do. What’s more, we’ve got over 10 years of case studies, testimonials and most importantly proof points to back this up!

So we’re really excited to have met the criteria required to provide services via the DPS for Digital Technology Services. As this coupled with the Crown Commercial Service’s Digital Outcomes and Specialists 4 framework has substantially increased the range, volume and value of the public sector opportunities we are eligible to apply for. And we’re really looking forward to working with new, as well as existing, clients on a broader range of projects.

What this means for our existing public sector clients?

What is the Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) 2.0 for Digital Technology Service?

Scottish Procurement developed the DPS 2.0 to provide a ‘straightforward, flexible and suitable route to market for all Scottish public sector organisations seeking assistance with digital projects, digital resources and cyber security processes’. The service is used by a broad range of public sector organisations including; central government, health, local authorities, universities and colleges, third sector organisations and other public bodies.
